Orchard visit in Llangynidr – and AGM

June 15, 2015 at 3:51 PM

Llangynidr Environment Action Group is inviting members and interested local residents to come on an apple orchard visit  on Friday, June 26 from 6-8pm.

The orchard, in Cyffredyn Lane, Llangynidr, was established 20 years ago by the Marcher Apple Network, an organisation that promotes the planting of apple varieties traditionally associated with our part of the world.

We will be having a talk by Mike Porter, an expert on orchards, and members are invited to bring a picnic along. Drinks – cider and apple juice – will be provided. There will be a place to shelter if it's raining!

We will also be holding a short AGM during the visit.

If you'd like to come along please RSVP to Louise Barlow by calling 730978 or by emailing Louise.
